Sparktober 2021 Bingo Prompt: Condemned

Remember the part in Lifeline when Elizabeth runs out of the jumper and John (hesitantly) orders Rodney to hit the kill switch on her nanites, which everyone knows would kill her? But then it doesn't work for some reason (that we never find out??) and the plot moves on to the hallway of doom anyway. But, I thought about that. Like, he did it. He really did it.
So, this incredibly depressing fic came out of that thought. I hope you enjoy(???) it.

Inspired by the scene between Elizabeth and Teyla in “Adrift” after Elizabeth wakes up from her coma and says they shouldn’t have re-activated her nanites, followed by: “You have no idea what I went through the last time.”
